Having joined Brink in November 2020, Jordan quickly became a key member of the growing architectural team. He provides a well-rounded role within the office, and also brings a specific skill-set in the use of various 3D CAD/BIM programs to assist us in visualising our projects at various stages – something he has significant experience in doing both in his time in practice and education.

Before starting his career in practice in the UK, Jordan undertook training at CIT in Australia in the use of Revit, BIM & Architectural Visualisation. Prior to joining Brink, Jordan spent 2 years working in a similar role in the UK at DCa, assisting on varied projects across numerous sectors and working at (BIM L2) – from high end private residential to large housing developments and multiple occupancy schemes.

Jordan also has a sound understanding of structural principals, steel fabrication & materials which enables him to work with engineers to come up with solutions that are not only technically resoled but often simplify the complex. This is a highly valued skill within the office as projects can often come to a standstill when the relationship between the designer and engineer is not in sync.

Other roles within the office include 3d printing, laser cutting, model making, website & graphic design, social media management & content creation, video editing, designing various bespoke products and components for manufacture, seeing them from concept stages through production to reality. Jordan has also been a continuous innovation leader within the office, developing systems and workflows for the use of Revit within the office to improve efficiency, 3d printing, visualisations & VR walkthroughs all of which are now used by the practice to convey proposals to our clients and various stakeholders bringing them to life beyond the typical 2d cad drawings.
